EKRA Posts Record Result and Passes Milestone
Highest 6 month and 12 month revenues and 500th machine shipped to the Americas

Marlborough, MA August 3, 2006 - With the close of the first half of 2006, Ekra America has announced that it posted the largest 6 month and rolling 12 month revenues in its history. In addition, the 500th EKRA machine was shipped into the Americas market during the month of June. “We are very proud of the results that we have been able to attain in a relatively short period of time and in a very competitive market”, said Steve Hall, President of Ekra America. “The market continues to see the benefits that EKRA provides with the Useful Technology of our products” continued Hall. “With a market that is focused on increasing efficiency, EKRA fits the bill in terms of market leading flexibility, reliability, and capability”.

Another contributing factor to the results of the last 12 months was the purchase of EKRA by ASYS in July of 2005. “Our operational capability increased greatly with the purchase, and the combined strength of the worldwide sales and service organization has allowed us to support our customer base to an even higher level than we were before” added Hall.
